Introductory word
We wish you wonderful summer holiday!
The recent summer Pospos gathering, state final exams or graduation ceremonies are an unmistakable sign that the end of the semester is upon us. After challenging studies, teaching, research or organizing conferences, we all are surely looking forward to holidays and vacations.
I may gladly state that our Faculty has experienced a successful academic year. We regularly report about our achievements as well as about challenges ahead of us. There is no need to repeat it now. I believe that most of you can also assess past months as mainly successful for yourselves. I would like to thank you for your work, which has led to a good reputation of the Faculty not only within the University. I wish you wonderful summer months in a good health with permanent sunshine, mountains reasonably high, forests full of mushrooms, lakes and rivers full of fish, clear roads and fast bicycles!
Thank you all again, I will look forward to a great cooperation in the next academic year.
Ivo Frébort, the Dean
