Entering results into OBD
Results into OBD must be submitted by February 14, 2020. Results entered later will not be taken into account when creating the 2020 budget. It is important to be thorough when entering data (for example, surnames of Czech co-authors should include accents and full first name, include a link to full text of the article, not just the abstract, etc.). The completeness and accuracy of the record is shown in RIV system and represents the entire University.
Here are the answers to some FAQs that are related to entering articles into OBD:
1. Do I have to insert an article into the OBD when I'm the first author? - YES
2. Do I have to insert an article into the OBD when I am not the first author and the first author is from the same faculty of UP? - NO - Article is inserted by the first UP author
3. Do I insert an article into the OBD when I am not the first author and the first author is from UP but from another faculty? - NO - Article is inserted by the first home (= UP) author
4. Do I insert an OBD article when I am not the first author and the first author is not from UP? - YES - In the case of publications where more institutes work together, the results need to be synchronized so that the results of the individual institutions correspond when creating the so-called "consolidated result" within RIV - it is necessary to agree with co-authors. This can prevent so-called "fraudulent duplication".

Access to underground parking garage
For a long time a system called TAGMASTER was used in the underground parking garages of the Envelopa building. The system provided access to the garage without the use of an employee card. Over time, the cards stopped working, and the system itself started to be outdated. Since the cards have been assigned to the name and are kept in the CVT register, please return them to Building maintenance by January 31, 2020 (Mr. Filip Zlámal, post box no. 35 – Envelopa Building Maintenance). We will ensure their mass disposal and removal of the name from the CVT register.
Camera system in underground garage
In connection with the recovery of the camera system, we have installed cameras that can read license plates. At present, the system is in trial run and we will continue to improve it. To ensure comfort, we need to enter all the vehicles you use to get to work (there will be no need for the use of an employee entrance card) into the vehicle register of underground garage parking. Several license plates can be listed per parking card. Parking cards remain in force and the employee is obliged to place it in a visible place behind the windshield. To ensure compliance with the registration and data processing, fill out the Request for the allocation of the Deposit box located on the website. There has been a new access road built for pedestrians from 17. listopadu street towards the back entrance above the entry to the underground parking garage. We kindly ask you to use it.
