Collection for the commemorative plaque of Josef Tillich
Josef Tillich taught physics at the Faculty of Science UP for more than 50 years, but at the same time he was very active in the field of visual arts, composed poems, was a promoter of a healthy lifestyle and a prominent yoga practitioner. He was an example and bearer of moral values that are gradually disappearing from today's world. Therefore, a collection was announced for the purchase of a dignified memorial in the form of a commemorative plaque, the shape of which will depend on the amount of donations that can be collected. His home faculty, where he spent practically his entire professional life, seems to be a suitable place for a memorial plaque.
Link to the collection. Queries may be addressed to Martin Štainer, tel. 777693055, email: martin@edukol.cz.
The next faculty Newsletter will be published on Monday, January 23, 2023.
