GA CR - Tenders announced for 2026 projects
The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) announces calls for proposals for standard projects, JUNIOR STAR, POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP, international projects and now also Return Grants, which are intended for scientists after a career break.
The biggest innovation this year is the Return Grants. They will enable scientists to return to science and lead their research project after a career break, for example due to parental leave.
Project proposals starting in 2026 can be submitted until 3 April 2025.
To secure the approval of the project application by the faculty management, please deliver the original green request form and the brief project information to the Department of Project Support, to Mgr. Ľubica Korcanová (in person or by internal mail - mailbox 3905 at the faculty's gatehouse), by 27 March 2025.
Send the final version of the project proposal in PDF with the FINAL watermark generated from GRIS to lubica.korcanova@upol.cz - by 31 March 2025.
In order to ensure a smooth submission process for this call and due to technical issues with file matching in GRIS, it is strongly recommended to deliver final versions of project applications before the faculty deadline, in case there is a need to resubmit project proposals.
Details can be found on the GA CR website.
