The Office for Mobility from the Division for International Cooperation took part in the EAIE conference (European Association for International Education) in France on 17th – 20th September 2024. 7 300 participants from more than 100 countries around the world came to Toulouse to spend a few days full of meetings, workshops, sessions, and posters.

Palacký University Olomouc shared a Study in Czechia booth with other Czech universities. We enjoyed a lot of meetings with our partners and also with partners-to-be. We discussed our existing and future cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme, summer schools as well as degree programmes.

The workshops and sessions were also highly beneficial. A wide range of topics was discussed there, e.g. Erasmus without paper, virtual exchanges, blended mobilities, sustainability, green Erasmus, student recruitment, well-being, or mental health.

We also attended the Czech reception at the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Study in Czechia initiative. Representatives of Czech universities, the international academic community, and other partners were present at the meeting. We also had an opportunity to visit our partner university Université Toulouse-III-Paul-Sabatier and the IUCT Oncopole Cancer Research Centre.

The follow-up meetings are in full swing and we are sure that our presence at EAIE will bring Palacký University Olomouc new opportunities in international relations.
