Majáles is a traditional festival celebrating studenthood, youth and spring. This annual celebration takes place at every large university in the Czech Republic. In Olomouc it is organized by students for students. This year’s celebrations in Olomouc will take place in May 2–3 in the area of Zbrojnice library, Bezručovy sady and clubs.
With this year’s topic of literature, you can expect to see both Czech and foreign bands, theatre plays, movies, student organization presentations, workshops on book creating and illustrating, discussions with writers and much more. Come and celebrate with all the other students!
